Perm-A-Plate ^TM

Instructions for Use

Please read the following instructions for application and removal of Perm-A-Plate ^TM before applying to your vehicle.

Application of Permaplate ^TM

1.
If applied in accordance with these instructions, Perm-A-Plate ^TM glue base has a life span of approximately two (2) years.

2.
Do not attempt to apply the Perm-A-Plate ^TM to hot or cold surfaces with temperatures exceeding 23 degrees or less than 12 degrees celsius.

3.
When applying the Perm-A-Plate ^TM to the surface of your vehicle ensure that the surface is clean and dry.

4.
Using the spray dispenser, lightly spray your vehicle's surface with a mixture of water and a few drops of washing up liquid.

5.   
Peel your sticker from its backing paper and apply to your vehicle.

6.   
Slide the sticker around until it is in the correct position.

7.   
While holding the sticker in place and squeeze use a soft cloth to squeegee excess water and air bubbles working from the centre to the edges in all directions.

8.   
Leave to dry

9.
For best results apply Perm-A-Plate ^TM  to vertical panels of the vehicle.

10.
Regular polishing of the vehicle is recommended to reduce the potential of fading.

Removal of Perm-A-Plate ^TM

1.   
Warm the Perm-A-Plate ^TM either in the sun or on cold days with a hair dryer to soften the vinyl.

2.   
Using your fingers gently peel at the edges to remove.

3.   
Clean the area with a damp cloth.

4.   
Remove any remaining residue of the adhesive glue with mineral turpentine.

5.   
After all the adhesive is removed wash the area with water mixed with a mild detergent, or a car wash.
